Workscape's Privacy Policy

Workscape's policy is to respect and protect the privacy of the users of its Web site. Workscape will not disclose individually identifiable information about you to any third party except as set forth herein without first receiving your permission. This privacy policy tells you how Workscape collects information from you and how we use it. Workscape reserves the right at its discretion to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by updating this page and such revisions will be effective upon posting to this page. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of this Web site following the posting of any revisions to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

Collection of Personal Information

In general, you can visit our Web site without giving Workscape any personal information. There are cases, however, where Workscape may ask you for personal information. For example, we do this when you request information or when you register for an event. This information may include such information as your name, mailing address, email address, phone number or company information. This information is used to contact you with marketing or promotional information from us.

Workscape also collects certain information about your computer hardware and software such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, domain name, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information may be analyzed to improve the value of the materials available on our Web site. Your session may be tracked, but you will be anonymous. We do not link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information.

Cookies

A cookie is a small data file that a Web site can transfer to a visitor's hard drive to keep records of the visits to such Web site. A cookie contains information such as your username and password that identifies your computer - but not you - as a unique user. A cookie cannot read data off of your hard drive or read cookie files created by other Web sites. Cookies allow Workscape to personalize its Web site for you and to provide you with information that fits your needs and desires. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. If you prefer not to accept a cookie, you can set your web browser to warn you before accepting cookies or you can refuse all cookies by turning them off in your web browser. However, note that some parts of the Workscape Web site may not function properly if you refuse cookies.

Use of Personal Information

Workscape is the sole owner of the information it gathers on its Web site. Workscape will only share your information with outside parties in ways that are described in this privacy policy or if we are required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to applicable law, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, or comply with a legal process served on Workscape.

Third-Party Service Providers

Workscape may contract with third parties to assist us in managing certain functions in connection with our Web site. Workscape will only provide third-party service providers with the information necessary to carry out the service. Third-party service providers will be contractually prevented from using the information received from Workscape for any purpose other than those dictated by Workscape.

Links to Other Websites

You should be aware that when you are at the Workscape Web site, there are links to other Web sites from Workscape pages that take you outside our Web site. For example, if you click on a partner link, the click takes you off the Workscape Web site. These other Web sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data or solicit personal information. Please note that privacy policies of these Web sites may differ from that of Workscape. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of each Web site you may visit.

Access to your Personal Information

Subscribe and unsubscribe requests and edits to your personal information can be managed by you electronically or you can send an e-mail request to info@workscape.com to update your e-mail address or any other information you have given to Workscape.
